Rio Rancho Film Commission
The Rio Rancho Film Office has a "reel friendly" track record working with film companies, talent scouts and commercial project directors.
The Rio Rancho Film Commission was officially acknowledged by the City of Rio Rancho City Council in November 2006. The Commission is comprised of seven highly experienced film industry professionals.
As a member of AFCI, the Rio Rancho Convention and Visitors Bureau offers 1-stop permitting, tax incentives, a searchable database of "Fresh Faces" featuring local talent and a "Reel Guide" loaded with local industry contacts to make your next shoot "reel friendly."

Joe Conti
Joe has worked in such filmmaking areas as visual effects, directing, producing, editing, special effects, and writing. He has worked on big-budget projects like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Kate & Leopold, Black Hawk Down, Stewart Little, Men in Black, The Siege, Courage Under Fire, and the Sci-Fi Channel original feature, Bugs, amongst others.
Peter Pino
Pueblo of Zia Tribal Administrator, Treasurer and Film Liaison. Longtime partner with Rio Rancho in film and government issues.
Bryan Purvis
Bryan has worked with films and shows such as Wildfire, Astronaut Farmer, Deja Vu, Employee of the Month and more. He has over eight years experience in CGI and animation and more than two years experience with HD cameras.
Carmen Serano
Carmen is an actress and a model. She is opening a makeup studio with her husband, Greag Serano, who will teach acting..
Greg Serano
Reoccurring role as Pablo, in the ABC Family TV show, Wildfire. Greg will teach acting in the Studio he and wife, Carmen, are opening in 2007.
Ed Smith
Ed is the owner of Edit House Productions, Rio Rancho's digital media production facility. He also produces Rio Vision for the City. Ed brings 25 years of experience in television production, facility build-outs, and management to the Film Commision.
Josie Viviano
Josie has 10 years of production experience and a background in local and national news coverage. Josie has produced for The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Discovery Channel, Home & Garden Television, and currently, The Dr. Phil Show.
