Athlete of the Month!

Show your team spirit and nominate an Athlete of the Month using the form below. Nominations for Athlete of the Month must be submitted before the 12th day of each month. The athlete's accomplishments should encompass at least one of the following:

Broke or tied a previously established record
The youngest, or oldest, to achieve the accomplishment
Feat qualified nominee for advancement to next level
An outstanding comeback
Named MVP on a team
Received, or achieved, perfect score
Joined ranks of established leaders in the sport
Received media recognition for the accomplishment
Brought local, regional, national or international recognition to Rio Rancho

Each Athlete of the Month nominees must reside in Rio Rancho, New Mexico OR the sports accomplishment must have occurred in Rio Rancho.

If you would like to submit a photograph of the athlete, please send an email to sports@rioranchonm.org and attach a high resolution picture of your athlete. Be sure to include the athlete's full name in the email.

The Sports Advisory Council will select ONLY ONE from all submissions received each month. That individual will be presented an award as “Athlete of the Month.” Each year in May one “Athlete of the Month” will be named “Athlete of the Year” by Rio Rancho's Sports Advisory Council.
